The Scripture of 2 Chronicles 7:14 is widely known and a favorite to many people.  The question I want to pose to each of us is this: to whom is it talking to and what does it mean in application form?  Below you will find a copy of the verse, the meaning of the various words used by the author, and then I will combine the scripture with the meaning of the words used.  Let this combined scripture speak to your heart and then choose whether you will do as it calls each of us to do.

2Chr. 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
